About

Robert G. MacArthur RHI

Our inspector, Robert G. MacArthur, has spent many years in the carpentry business since graduating in 1979 from a 3 year course at PEI’s Holland College. From framing, roofing, and cabinet building, to high rise construction, Robert has done it all.  After spending years in the carpentry business, he went on to operate a successful proprietorship of a carpentry service in PEI.  Over the years, Robert has always had an interest in furthering his education and perfecting his craft.  He decided on a new direction and created RGM Home Inspection Services.  Robert is proud to be a lifelong learner and continues to renew his qualifications, take new and modern courses, and keep up to date on all current codes and practices.  You can feel confident in the experience and attention to detail that RGM Home Inspection Services provides.  Robert is also incredibly proud to be a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He volunteers his time to help Habitat recipients by giving Home Maintenance seminars, to help ensure the new home owners can be as successful as possible in their ownership.

Unfortunately, Home Inspectors in Prince Edward Island are NOT regulated, meaning that anybody can hang up a sign and offer you service.  It is up the you to verify that you are hiring a qualified inspector.   As a RHI (Registered Home Inspector) and NCH (national Certificate Holder) with CAHPI (Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors), Robert is required to review and upgrade his skills on a regular basis, below you can find a complete list of all the training and certifications Robert holds, making him one of the most qualified house inspectors in Prince Edward Island.
